Andrew Hilton, a.k.a. TKR, is an anime /HXC/jcore/convention inspired DJ currently located in Cincinnati, OH. Born and raised in the greater Cincinnati area, Andrew grew up singing in various bands, writing music, and watching anime. He has been attending conventions for years along side his Cincinnati based crew, 'The Kodama Ravers'. Since then he has taken his passion for music and found a home, sharing his love for electronic music and anime with the convention scenes around the midwest. His mixes bring out a high energy environment, mixing the most intense, and all around awesome tracks from various genres ranging all the way from Hardcore, to J-Core to Hard Electro.
Gwydion (Anthony Doherty)
Fire Artist
Gwydion has been a professional Fire Artist for the past six years, using staff, poi and fans. He uses two different sizes of staffs: a four foot staff, which enables him to reach great speeds; and a six foot staff, which is slower, but allows him to perform more complex tricks. The poi he uses is made from special Kevlar wicking that are hooked to chains that go to special leather straps that hang from a finger from each of his hands. He also uses fire fans with a dance technique that he can interact with the crowd, or a single person. Gwydion also demonstrate the art of Dragon's Breath, by breathing fire. Plus he has been known to eat fire!
John Oppliger

Born in 1972, John Oppliger began watching anime at an early age in the late 1970s - Battle of the Planets, Starblazers. Fascinated by Robotech and Voltron in the mid 1980s, John started seeking and watching imported, Japanese language anime.
Fate and fortune brought John to work for anime specialty store AnimeNation in 1998. The following year AnimeNation launched the "Ask John" web column in which John would provide answers and opinions to reader submitted questions about anime. The "Ask John" column has amassed over 2,000 articles and is now read worldwide. It even has a Japanese language translation and over 10,000 regular Japanese readers.
John was also instrumental in the formation and operation of AnimeNation's licensing & anime distribution arm, AN Entertainment.
John has visited Tokyo a half-dozen times in the past ten years, met numerous Japanese professionals in the anime production industry, and toured the Gonzo, Madhouse, and Tezuka Pro animation studios. John is now internationally recognized as one of the English speaking world's foremost experts on Japanese anime, with an extensive fan knowledge of the medium and over a decade of professional experience in the anime industry.

returning for their third year at Glass City Con! They specialize in
learning the dances from the musicals, and performing them, just for you!
Their numbers have increased since their last appearance, and there may even be a “special guest” lurking behind the corner!
Featuring Elly, Angie, Patti, Courtney, Kelsey, Pippin, Kristen, Cookie, Eric, Tenka, Pixies, and Mo, the Salad Time Soldiers are glad to be back at the con that hosted their first show! Get ready for their show on Saturday, and expect them to grace the hallways of Glass City Con in their hand-made shiny costumes once more!
