Hi! Hello! We're 2d6, a mythological beast bent on ruling the world through the power of nerdy rap songs! You may have heard of us through performances at THIS VERY CONVENTION (among others)! We seek to control you with the mind-numbingly great songs about giant monsters, nostalgia for 1992, cancelled television programs, anime, video games, comic books, amongst a proverbial pile of other nonsense! Come have your minds and ears blown away by this two headed rap beast!

Aikido Demo - Presented by Shobu Aikido of Ohio - All Ages

Shobu Aikido will be presenting an introduction to the Japanese Martial Art of Aikido. The art of Aikido unifies offense and defense and teaches the art of remaining neutral and balanced between the two. Based on the battlefield martial arts of Japan, Aikido utilizes all methods of barehanded training as well as short staff and sword. Aikido is a martial art without competition. The founder forbid formal competitive matches in order to develop awareness of all possible attacks and maintain the reality of actual combat. The harmonious and natural structure of Aikido allows full contact and full speed training with very little risk of injury. In this way it is an enjoyable practice for men, women, and children of all ages.

All Tied Up - Presented by Traeonna - Ages 18+

Learn about shibari/kinbaku and hojojutsu during this presentation about rope bondage in Japanese culture from an American perspective. Presentation followed by an informative overview covering safety and risk awareness concerning rope play with hands on workshop where participants learn several knots, hitches, and forms such as single and double column ties, simple hog-tie and shrimp-tie, speedy body harness, and more. No partners required. Rope kits are available for purchase ($20/kit) or you may bring your own 1x10ft and 1x30ft lengths to use. No lending rope will be provided.

The Cosplay Contest is your opportunity to strut your stuff on stage for a panel of judges, for the entertainment of an adoring audience, and for some awesome awards! We have two different categories: Craftsmanship and Performance. All experience levels are encouraged to compete. Competitors need to sign up at the Cosplay Registration Desk in room 202 between 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM for a judging slot, Saturday only. Don’t worry, the judges are all nice, and the cosplay staff will help you get registered!  This year’s Cosplay Contest will feature mixes by our special musical guest, ShadowSense!

This panel attempts to focus on two key elements of his creation process: the intersection of Shinto and Celtic lore, and his love of Goddess mythology.
